En todo el mundo se utilizan unos 15 tipos diferentes de enchufes, y no, el mundo no se va a poner de acuerdo en un est\u00e1ndar universal a corto plazo. Las razones son hist\u00f3ricas, t\u00e9cnicas y, a veces, de orgullo nacional.<\/p>\n<h2>Los tres grandes: BS 1363, Schuko y NEMA<\/h2>\n<h3>BS 1363 - Tipo G (Reino Unido, Oriente Medio, partes de Asia)<\/h3>\n<p>El enchufe brit\u00e1nico es el que tiene tres clavijas rectangulares y un fusible en su interior. En lugar de un fusible, utiliza dos clavijas redondas de 4,8 mm y clips de tierra en los laterales de la toma.
